Activity Block Task Cards
Oh the last weeks of June.... these are the weeks that test us. My students have a new level of buzz to them. Everything is a bit bigger: feelings, reactions, voices.... I find that bringing out a new activity that is super engaging but also invites some fine motor practise and focus can help with some of my busier students.
When I first brought these activity blocks into my class, I invited groups of students to explore and play with the blocks. As they built we made a list of things they created. These task cards are the product of the hands-on play of my grade 1 & 2 students. I'm sure your students will enjoy the prompts as well as creating their own structures.
