Everybody: October Printable

October's printables are coming at you in French & English! Scholastic Canada provided these colouring pages just for Bright & Lively teachers! My class loved making Elise's trademark monsters their own by colouring them with amazing colours and patterns. In my class, we used these colouring pages as the starting point for a class book inspired by Elise's amazing book, Everybody! I used this story as our starting point to explore the power of the word 'because' in early elementary writing. It's such a simple yet powerful addition to early writing BECAUSE it encourages children to add details, explain their thinking, and dig a little bit deeper!
